Care about your intake

As I told you earlier, you have to live the whole 9months and 10 days very cautiously. Give more and proper importance to your diet. More than checking out what to eat, check what not to eat. It is always advised to avoid undercooked meats because they may contain bacteria that affect the baby. The same way avoid undercooked chicken, pork, raw seafoods and raw or half-boiled eggs.
Avoid high cholesterol foods like deep fries, egg yolk, soft cheese…, these may increase your blood cholesterol level and may lead to indigestion. Constipation is a very common problem during pregnancy. So take more of fiber food. Let your diet comprises lots of fruits and salads. See to it that your intake has all vitamins, minerals and nutrients that are required for the baby. It should be a well balanced diet. All vegetables and fruits are safe for the baby. Avoid eating outside foods, as the hoteliers may add too many flavors for taste. Avoid soft drinks as they contain too many toxic substances that may lead to cancer kind of diseases. Alcohols are to be totally avoided during pregnancy as they may prevent oxygen from reaching the baby’s brain. This may affect the baby’s physical and mental development.
Lastly, keep in track with your sugar level and pressure level. Most women develop gestational diabetics during the pregnancy period. Sometimes they may continue with the same condition through out their lifetime. This may even lead to overweight of your baby. So take good and correct diet. In addition, drink liters of water daily.

Changes during pregnancy

Every pregnant woman will find changes in her body. Apart from gaining weight and big tummies, you still find many changes in body condition. It’s better to say you need to change many things in your life during pregnancy. The main change is on your diet. Need to avoid some foodstuff, coz it may not suit your baby, who is there inside the womb. Then are the changes in your physical activities. For the first five months, you need to be very careful, as it is the stages where the baby’s formation is strengthened. It is necessary that you have to be very soft in your movements. Avoid riding a bike, especially on the bumpy roads. Avoid watching horror kind of movies. Try to keep your mind fresh and relaxed always. Do keep walking. It may not be a fast walk but at least a normal walk. Do not allow your body to gain weight then the delivery will be difficult.

Regular check up

Being pregnant is god’s gift. It is something very precious. You have to live the whole 9months and 10 days very cautiously. Because you are not alone now, there is a creature that completely depends on you for his growth. Think how careful you need to be, when you are bringing up an egg into a well-developed baby. The fetal development is the most important one. Therefore, you need to go to your doctor every month. Each time you go to the doctor, she will be checking the growth and heart beat of the baby. The first month she will do an ultrasound test to confirm your pregnancy. Then on your third, fifth and seventh months, they will do scanning to check the growth of your baby’s body parts. This scan will tell accurately about the length, width, size of each part.
Then, the doctors will teach you to count the movements of the baby, which is one of the most important things. You need to check it every day for the normal number of movements. Apart from this, you need to check your doctor before taking any tablet. Let it be a heavy dose tablet or a mild dose tablet, it should be taken only after the doctors prescription. From the day one until you give birth to the child; please do avoid the other tablets as far as possible, as it may affect the fetal inside.

When I found it out…

In today’s world, everything is pre planned whether it is well planned or not. Schooling, graduation, extra courses, career, a vacation trip, marriage, everything is planned and so is the arrival of the baby. After marriage, most of the couples’s first decision making will be this, “when can we have a baby?” And yes, we too decided on it. But after few months, something kept telling me, an intuition, that I’ll soon be an expectant mom. I was right! On a fine morning, out of a home test, I found that I am pregnant. My immediate reaction was a smile. But the next second, I was quite worried. How will my hubby take this? We had so many plans. What will happen to all those plans? Will this bring a big change to everything? With so many questions, I woke my hubby from his deep sleep to tell this. He was in such a sleepy mood that he could not even open his eyes. I slowly shook him up and said this with so much stammering. But he didn’t respond anything. I think the message, which I said, reached his mind very slowly. Because he suddenly turned to me and asked, actually screamed “What?” It took him an hour to come out of this shock. He felt like all his dreams were shattered. However, after sometime, he himself came to me and said, “Let’s get a formal confirmation from the doctor, before telling to other about this GOOD NEWS”. I was so happy. Got the confirmation and told to all my close ones.

HI ALL

I’m starting this blog just to share my experience. I’m a mom of a 6 month old cute little baby. Since this is my first motherhood, I had loads and loads of doubts on each and everything, right from the day one of my pregnancy. And so soon I have crossed all the 3 trimester of pregnancy and the dream delivery. Days are running like minutes, that I still remember the day, when my doctor confirmed my pregnancy.
Now I’m enjoying my baby’s daily growth on all aspects. It’s so visible that u can observe a change every week either in her physical appearance or on her activities.

I haven’t written a blog before. But, when I told my friend that I like to share these with many, she suggested me to write blogs. So, here I’m, so excited, found a place to crave my thoughts, express my mind and share my experience!!!!!!
